Spares
I also purchase spares and parts for certain models of cars and motorcycles, mainly British, German and Japanese classic and modern classic/retro vehicles from the 50’s 60’s 70’s 80’s and 90’s. So whether it’s a frame and parts for a Norton, Triumph or BSA, an engine for a BMW M3, wheels for a Porsche 911, we may well have an interest. I occasionally buy in bulk/job lots in the case of garage clear outs.

If you are looking for a specific classic or performance car or motorcycle it’s quite possible that I can source it for you or put you in touch with the right person. I have built up a trusted network of specialists, dealers and Importers across the UK all of whom I know personally and have dealt with over the years. This can often provide access to vehicles that are not yet on the open market and also new/newer vehicles that may otherwise have a waiting list.
How I operate

A word of advice ref online selling platforms and third party sale or return
Broker websites and online auction platforms.
Increasingly common, these websites earn commission from your vehicle with no risk (to them) or handling of goods.
The websites often ‘guarantee’ you the best price for your vehicle with the promises of a hassle free sale on photos/videos alone. This particular avenue is both risky for the seller and the buyer especially when dealing with older and classic vehicles.
The broker or auction platform will be of little to no assistance should disagreements concerning description/condition start and a sale falls through, a common occurrence.
A simple rule, the majority of buyers, whether dealers or private, will not complete a sale on photos or videos alone. Keep it local, simple and safe.
Sale or Return (SOR)
I don’t usually recommend sale or return ‘SOR’. A potentially risky method (for the seller) places custody and control of their vehicle with a 3rd party who will then attempt to retail the vehicle on the sellers behalf to gain a commission. It can often mean transporting the vehicle hundreds of miles away, placing your trust completely within a company where the risk of fraud, loss, damage, the vehicle being returned in the failure of a sale or even the company falling into administration are all real and documented cases.
Once again, keep it local, keep it safe.
