Restoring Classic & Performance Cars & Motorcycles

A bit about myself. Growing up in Aberdeen with a passion for most things automotive especially cars and motorcycles I was constantly involved with classic and performance vehicles from a very early age. By my teenage years I was well and truly hooked and owned some of my own before I even had a driving license. After spending my 20’s working in the oil industry, I turned my back on a solid career to follow my passion. I moved South of the border near Silverstone, rented a small workshop and used my skills in welding to set up a classic car restoration and repair business. I quickly got connected within the trade and Industry and worked alongside many other specialists on a vast range of vehicles with values ranging from hundreds to millions. Weekends were often taken up with an interest in motorsport which then progressed into racing and building a couple of competitive cars. This resulted in several wins and put some trophies on the shelf. As the business progressed and I’d built up a reputation (a good one, just in case you were wondering!) I found myself being asked more and more to assist in the sourcing, inspection and valuation of vehicles.

After a decade in England, Scotland always felt like home, the decision was made to move back to Aberdeen and concentrate on what I know best.
